How can we know that what is written, spoken, or seen is always the truth? We are taught to believe what is taught in school, at church, on the job, on the news or in the newspaper is the truth.
We are never allowed to learn what is true by witnessing, by our own investigation, nor by learning on our own. I think that the truth obtained by the individual, on their own is more powerful. It allows one to know yourself. Being able to think as an individual is a lost art.
Mankind no longer desires to think for themselves, but to be told what to do, say, see and how to live according to someone else's (false/lie) truth.
