A Great Gift

We all know that this is the holiday season. But many forget that it came from a Holy Day, to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We all desire to give and receive gifts. However, I am asking that there is a gift we need to all share with one another that is priceless....LOVE.
The cost or value is beyond all things man-made. So all of us can give it in whatever way you desire. Because Christ showed us how deep his love is for us. Why can't we...... give the love as a gift as Jesus did, without any demands or needing anything in return. How deep is your love......

Time to Change

        We have been doing a great deal over the past few months. We have move into our own place, my daughter as also gotten her own apartment. Then my son, his fiancee' and their son have moved around the corner from us. Then over the holiday, I lost my  job. In a way I am glad that it happen. It is given me a chance to rethink what I want to do for the remainder of my life. It is just my wife and I. This is be the first time in twenty three years that we have be totally alone. I hope that it will give us time to work on some personal things.

       It is also time for me to put more focus and energy into my ministry because the job I had did not have that much respect for those that have a strong spiritual life. That is what is wrong with this country. The greed and lust for money has replaced our desire to have a strong spiritual life. We seem to have forgotten what is important in life. When I look at the news from around the world, all I see is war, terrorist, murder, rape, and hate. The very few acts of love and charity are far and between all the hell that we have allowed to come into our lives.
 
       I plan to get another job, but my career is my ministry and nothing else. We all have something to offer our families, our communities and in the long round, the nation. All the things considered, we all have to make an individual choice to care or not care about what is happening around us.      I know that one person can make a difference, just look at history. It is time that each individual start taking care of business that will bring about of change that will benefit not only the individual but also the community. The wealthy and powerful have a straw in all of us and they want to suck us dry. That is why we suffer in order to make life easy for them. That is why the Republican Party is only interested in taking care of themselves that are at the top of the food chain. We can do better than what are attempting to push on us.

Catching Up

           I had to take a great deal of time off. I know for some that is suppose to be writing a blog that is a death sentence. however i have relocated to another part of the U.S. and had to help my wife get settled into  her routine (she is praying for a new kidney) of Doctor Appointment, Dialysis and finding her way round a city that we have not been in for almost twenty plus years.

           Then I had to find work that i could get to on the bus. we left the car, because we didn't have enough money to repair it and move too. I t has been a great learning experience for me. We thank god for all those that have helped us and even those that turned their back on us because they had their hand out and we had nothing or very little to put in it.

          We have learned about true friendship, love and family. That is the main reason that I decided to write at this time. We have been through so much, some is of our own making, and I must take the responsibility for it all, I am the head. God made me the head of this house and it falls or grows stronger as to the choices I have made. I thank God for wisdom that I gain from his word, the spiritual connection that my wife and I have with our Lord to deal with each days challenges.

         As I grow in faith, allowing God to work in me and be his instrument for those I come in contact with you will see me write more, until then ....BE BLESSED,GROW IN FAITH, BE PROSPEROUS THOUGH THE LIVE OF GOD!!!

God's Way or Man's Way

           In today's world , right and wrong is not measured by God's Law, but by man's twisted idea of right and wrong. God's law never changes, but man's law or his idea of right and wrong changes with the season. Which one do you one do you desire to  follow and live by? Which will prevail in providing the life you desire for yourself, your family and friends; your church and community? 

We have allowed those that do not wish to believe in God, to dictate how we are to live. They tell us what is right and wrong daily. They tell us what movies, shows, music, food, style of clothes, events we can go to and just about everything else. Do you truly think that you have "free will"?  

We are even being told what can be preached, taught or discussed about God and Jesus in church. Things are becoming so confused that most people are no longer concerned about their spiritual life, their health, the future of this nation, their children, the elderly ( which are the cornerstone of every family) or anyone other than the wealthy.

We are all in this together no matter what anyone tells you. We all sink or swim together. No individual, political group or "religious" organization has all the answers although they claim they do). Did not God give a piece of the puzzle to each of us and we need to stop thinking that one or the other has all the answers. Do you think that the teachings of Jesus is just for those that believe he is the Christ? NO! THEY ARE GOD'S LAW FOR ALL MANKIND.

*TO GIVE AND FORGIVE

*TO ACT TO PRESERVE LIFE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

*TO TREAT OTHERS AND BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, LOYALTY, HONOR, TRUST, FAITH, COMPASSION(JUST TO NAME A FEW).

We are suppose to be truly made in God's image. What do you see? Some can't stand to look at themselves any longer, because they see a ugly, nasty, perverted image of themselves. So, they have come up with a false face, to try and hide from God. That is how the world is, one false face after another. No truth. No honor. No faith. No loyalty. You can't run and you can't hide. However, some can look him/herself in the mirror and see God's reflection, for as God is spirit. So, let him shine in everything you do and say, God is all and every where.

Change Is Now, NOT!

Each year individually and as a planet , we attempt to change things for the better. However, I have noticed that the changes we want to see happen will never take place . Why? We attempt to use the same methods or variations of them to deal with the same problems that have continue to keep everyone asking the same questions day in and day out. when will things get better?

Is this insanity on a grand scale?

If change is to take place, it can only take place when you change the way you think and act. When you decide to think from a totally different view point , then you may see a different outlook on life. There are people that dream of a better world, but they are in the minority. The majority seems enjoy the world the way it is. They hate major or quick changes. Think about it.

If we as the highest form of life on the planet dreamed of a better world, would it be as it is ?
Would there still be wars, conflicts, murder, slavery, rape, thief, starvation, homelessness, and poverty?
It seems that the individuals that are elected to office don't have a great plan to make things better. The wealthy/elite which make up ruffly 1-2% of the population control over 90% of the wealth are not interested in changing. There is no longer a true "Middle " class, only the working poor( living paycheck to paycheck) and the poor ( no money and not enough food to last util the end of the week). We thik that tere is no class system in this country. WRONG!

If you read history, that is what has caused every major depression in history. When the wealth is controlled by a elite group of individuals. There is no spreading of wealth nor power among the majority. The wealthy minority is in control. Think about it.

Every time President Obama has propose a change that would benefit the the majority, the wealthy elite start a campaign (Tea Party) to prevent a positive change . The President is only one man but he seems to be alone in the fight because it is all a set up from the start. He was set up to fail. We do not give him the support he needs or deserves. Why?

Because the changes that his administration are proposing goes against the what the wealth want. But that is not true. The wealthy can make money in any type of market or financial climate. Don't believe me? Check out the numbers of on wall street. The number of "American Corporations" that are opening / building buildings over seas. Check out the what the Banks and Insurance companies are doing. Are any of them going out of business? Are any of them investing in American Business that are building factories or business anyplace in your area? I have not read , heard or seen any new businesses starting construction projects. Have you? Think about it.

What does this say about America. government to you? If change is now, I only see and hear the same old B.S. but from a different direction and it still stinks! Think about it.

Save A Famly

I want to know what can be done to bring families back together? Does it start with the elders that started the divisions to come together, or should it be the children. I remember the movies that showed families coming together on Sundays to share dinner, love and family unity.

Many of the families today have only one parent, or both parents work , including on Sunday. I remember that on Sundays, all stores and businesses would be closed the entire day or at least by 5:00 p.m. So that, everyone could be home for dinner with their family. Is making money for the rich and greedy worth the value of your family's love and unity?

What will it take for the common man and woman to have what the rich, wealthy and prosperous have taken away from us? I can almost assure you that the majority are at home or with family on the weekends, as you and I sacrifice our families for their comfortable lifestyle. Sure we may have to work for a living , but look at what it is costing us. Is being home on Sunday or working a half day going to make things that much worst, if you are able to spend some quality time with your family one day of the week?

Hay you, the business owner, CEO, Chairman of the Board, is it going to make the business go under to close 3 to 5 hours earlier so that your employees can save their families? Is it going to change the community in which your employees live , if they are able to spend Sunday evening with their family? It could, but we will never know, will we?
